Determine the filter model and capacity

Has the refrigerator been unused for a while?

PureSource (RG-100) Filter Replacement

Open freezer door and leave open until filter change is complete

Set ice maker wire signal arm to OFF (up) position or turn On/Off power switch to 'O'

Hold filter cup firmly and unscrew towards left

Rinse out cup under running water

Check the large o-ring in the groove inside the cup; replace if damaged

Stop ice production by lifting the wire signal arm to the 'up' or OFF position (side mounted) or setting the On/Off power switch to 'O' (rear mounted)

Remove the ice container by lifting up and out.

Clean the container with mild detergent and rinse with clear water.

Allow the container to dry completely before replacing in the freezer.

Remove ice chips from the shelf and chute that support the ice container.

Clean smooth handles and exterior surfaces using soap and water and a soft cloth

Avoid using commercial household cleaners, ammonia, or alcohol to clean handles

Avoid using a dry cloth to clean smooth doors

Clean stainless steel front and handles with non-abrasive soapy water and a dishcloth

Rinse with clean water and a soft cloth

Wipe stubborn spots with an ammonia-soaked paper towel, then rinse

Use a non-abrasive stainless steel cleaner and follow manufacturer's instructions

Ensure the wire signal arm is in the correct position

Is the water supply hooked up immediately?

If water supply is not connected, is the ice maker turned OFF?

Has the refrigerator been installed properly and cooled for several hours?

Did the ice maker begin making ice within 24 hours?

Did the ice maker cycle two or three times before making a full tray of ice?

Check the Air Filter Status Light

Turn on the air filter by pressing the 'Air Filter' button

Turn off the air filter by pressing the 'Air Filter' button

Replace the fresh food air filter cartridge if the status light is red

Press and hold the 'Air Filter' button for 3 seconds to reset the air filter after replacement
