Unplug the electrical power cord from the wall outlet

Cleaning Interior and Door Liner

Prepare cleaning solution with 2 tablespoons of baking soda in 1 quart of warm water, or use soap and water

Wring excess water out of sponge or cloth before cleaning around controls, light bulb, or any electrical part

Clean interior and door liner with the prepared solution

Wipe door gaskets with a clean soft cloth and soap and water

Clean smooth handles and exterior surfaces using soap and water and a soft cloth

Ensure no commercial household cleaners, ammonia, or alcohol are used on handles

Avoid using a dry cloth to clean smooth doors

Clean stainless steel front and handles with non-abrasive soapy water and a dishcloth

Rinse with clean water and a soft cloth

Wipe stubborn spots with an ammonia-soaked paper towel, then rinse

Use a non-abrasive stainless steel cleaner and follow manufacturer's instructions

Check the Air Filter Status Light

Turn off the air filter by pressing the 'Air Filter' button

Replace the fresh food air filter cartridge

Turn on the air filter by pressing the 'Air Filter' button

Reset the air filter by pressing and holding the 'Air Filter' button for 3 seconds

Determine the type of water filter model

Has the Filter Status light turned red?

Has the refrigerator been unused for a while?

PureSource (RG-100) Maintenance

Open freezer door and leave open until filter change is complete

Set ice maker wire signal arm to OFF (up) position or turn On/Off power switch to 'O'

Hold filter cup firmly and unscrew towards left

Rinse out cup under running water

Connect the refrigerator to the water supply

Fill the water tank by drawing one glass of water

Wait for 1½ minutes after activating the dispenser paddle

Continue flushing the system for 3 minutes to rid the tank and plumbing connections of impurities

Discard ice made during the first 24 hours due to possible discoloration or odd flavor from new plumbing connections
