Ensure the unit is unplugged before starting maintenance

Drain Pan and Drain Line Inspection

Check the following components for proper condition

Is the drain line free of blockages?

Inspect the drain pan for any cracks or leaks

Reconnect the unit after inspection is complete

Ensure the unit is unplugged before starting maintenance

Carefully grip ends of core and pull evenly outward

Remove filters from the cabinet

Wash core in warm soapy water (do not use dishwasher)

Rinse core thoroughly with water

CAUTION: Ensure the unit is unplugged before starting maintenance

Check outside hoods for blockages

Inspect for leaves or insects blocking the airflow

Check for pollutants near the intake hood

Ensure hoods are clear of snow accumulation (winter months)

CAUTION: Ensure the unit is unplugged before starting maintenance

Check the condition of the filters

Clean the filters using warm sudsy water or a soft brush vacuum

Can the filters be cleaned properly?

Replace filters if they cannot be cleaned properly

Ensure the unit is unplugged before starting maintenance

Verify the unit is unplugged to prevent electrical shock

Run through the system and verify different operating modes

Vacuum the inside of the unit carefully
