Air Filter Replacement
Warning: Ensure the projector is turned off and unplugged before starting the procedure.
Is the air filter torn or damaged?
If the air filter is not damaged, stop the procedure.

Air Filter and Vents Cleaning
Warning: Ensure the projector is turned off and unplugged before starting the cleaning process.
Is the projector turned off and unplugged?

Was the dust gently removed using a small vacuum or a very soft brush?
Caution: Do not use canned air. The gases may leave a flammable residue or push dust and debris into the projector's optics or other sensitive areas.
Was canned air avoided during the cleaning process?
Is the air filter damaged?
If the air filter is damaged, replace it.

Projector Lamp Maintenance
Warning: The lamp may be hot. Let the projector cool down for at least one hour before replacing the lamp.
Enter the current lamp hours from the projector's menu system
Is the projected image dark or deteriorating?
Is there a message to replace the lamp when the projector is turned on?
Is the projector's Lamp light flashing orange and its power light flashing blue?
Caution: If you continue to use the lamp after the above conditions occur, the possibility that the lamp may explode increases.
Note: We recommend the use of genuine Epson replacement lamps. The use of non-genuine lamps may affect projection quality and safety.
Warning: Let the lamp fully cool before replacing it to avoid injury.

Projector Cleaning
Warning: Before cleaning any part of the projector, turn it off and unplug the power cord. Never open any cover on the projector, except as specifically explained in this manual. Dangerous electrical voltages in the projector can injure you severely.
Warning: Do not try to service this product yourself, except as specifically explained in this manual. Refer all other servicing to qualified servicers.

Did you avoid opening any cover on the projector?
To remove stubborn smudges, moisten a soft, lint-free cloth with lens cleaner and gently wipe the lens. Do not spray any liquid directly on the lens.
Warning: Do not use a lens cleaner that contains flammable gas. The high heat generated by the projector lamp may cause a fire.
Caution: Do not use glass cleaner or any harsh materials to clean the lens and do not subject the lens to any impacts; you may damage it. Do not use canned air, or the gases may leave a residue. Avoid touching the lens with your bare hands to prevent fingerprints on or damage to the lens surface.
Did you use a soft, lint-free cloth with lens cleaner to wipe the lens?
Did you avoid using a lens cleaner that contains flammable gas?
Remote Control Batteries Replacement
Caution: Use only the type of batteries specified in this manual. Do not install batteries of different types, or mix new and old batteries.
Remove the battery cover as shown.
Remove the old batteries.
Warning: If the battery fluid has leaked, wipe it away with a soft cloth and avoid getting the fluid on your hands. If it gets on your hands, wash them immediately to avoid injury.
Insert the batteries with the + and– ends facing as shown.
Warning: Make sure the batteries are inserted in the correct positions. If the batteries are not inserted correctly, they could explode or leak, causing a fire, injury, or damage to the product.
Replace the battery cover and press it down until it clicks into place.
Warning: Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations. Do not expose batteries to heat or flame. Keep batteries out of the reach of children; they are choking hazards and are very dangerous if swallowed.
