1 Weekly Water Filter Cleaning

Check mark

- Open the cock (1) in order to discharge all the water from the tank. Next, remove the cover (2).

- Take out the cartridge (3).

Check mark

- Clean the cartridge with a compressed air jet.

- At the end of this operation reassemble both the cartridge (3) and cover (2) correctly.

- Close the cock (1).

- Before carrying out cleaning or maintenance operations on the machine, or when replacing machine parts, turn off the engine, remove the ignition key and disconnect the battery.

To clean and wash the machine, do not use aggressive or acid cleansers.

Gasoil Supply Circuit Maintenance

CAUTION: Let the engine cool down in order to avoid any risk of scalding.

NOTICE: This operation must be done when needed, in case there is no more fuel at all or after the gasoil filter has been replaced.

Open the right side hatch.

Check mark

Loosen the bleeding screw (1) on the filter.

Check mark

Intervene on the manual pump (2), until gas oil free from air bubbles comes out from the vent.

CAUTION: Make sure not all the fuel in the filter comes out of the filter itself.

If this is the case, remove the filter (see paragraph 6.4.c), manually fill it again and repeat the breathing operation.

Tighten the screws (1).

Check mark

Dry the remaining fuel before starting the engine again.

3rd Brush Bearings Regulation

CAUTION: This procedure requires trained personnel with PPE!

Remove the casing after unscrewing its screws

Check mark

Unscrew the safety dowels

Check mark

Measure the distances between the bearing and the slider

Check mark

Adjust the dowels evenly on the four bearings until the end of stroke

Check mark

Loosen the four adjusting dowels to create some clearance and let the slider shift freely

Check mark

Screw the four locking dowels again, clamp deeply and replace the casing

Check mark

Measure the thickness of the pads of the bearings

Check mark

CAUTION: Replace the pads of the bearings when they are less than 4 mm thick

Street Sweeper Fuel Refuelling

CAUTION: If the fuel should overflow, carefully wash the area with water.

Open the left side hatch and remove the cap

Enter the amount of fuel filled

Check mark

Screw the cap back on

Sign off on the fuel refuelling

1 Weekly Street Sweeper Lubrication

Grease all points indicated below using grease indicated in the “Refuelling” table enclosed in the machine documentation.

Accurately claen the head of the lubricator before pumping grease.

On the machine four different greasing systems may be installed.

All of the four systems ensure a good lubrication only if the check is carried out point by point by visually checking that the grease is dosed in the area to be greased.
