Verify that automatic calibration occurs every 24 hours during operation

Manual Calibration After Sensor Replacement

Press the key 2 in the main menu

Wait approximately 5 minutes for the 'O2 Cal' message to disappear from the status field, indicating completion of calibration

Press the Reset Check key to cancel the message on the screen

Set the O2 adjuster to 100 vol.% and disconnect the O2 supply.

Switch on the Babylog 8000/Babylog 8000 SC.

Is the message 'no oxygen' displayed on the device?

Set the O2 adjuster to 21 vol.% and disconnect the medical AIR supply.

Is the message 'no medical air' displayed on the device?

Re-connect the medical AIR supply.

Pull out the cooling air filter 1 from its mount in the rear panel

Cooling Air Filter Cleaning or Replacement

Choose an action for the cooling air filter

If washing, use warm water with a few drops of dish-washing liquid

Dry the cooling air filter well

Cooling Air Filter Reinstallation

Insert the cooling air filter 1 into the mount

Ensure the cooling air filter is free of folds

Remove the slotted-head screws 1 in the cover on the right-hand side

Pull the spent O2 sensor capsule out of its mount

Insert the new O2 sensor capsule into the mount with ring-shaped conductors facing the cover

Remove the screw 1 on the fan/loudspeaker cover.

Disconnect the cable connection 2 and place the cover 3 aside.

Remove the screws 4 on the battery mount.

Remove the battery 5 and install a new one.

Re-assemble the Babylog 8000/Babylog 8000 plus/Babylog 8000 SC.

Ensure the battery for power failure alarm is recharging automatically during operation.
