Ensure the chair is powered off

Remove the front floor box cover

Use a large coin in the integrated coin slot if needed

Check for any damage to wiring or tubing

Use a 3/16" hex key to remove the stop screw from the back of the armrest.

Install the stop screw in the front of the armrest.

Are the armrests loose or difficult to move?

Use a 1/8" hex key to adjust the rotation tension screw.

Ensure ESD precautions are in place

Lower the chair base to the mechanical limit

Turn off the power before beginning the procedure

Lower the chair base to the mechanical limit to minimize pressure in the hydraulic system

Disconnect the solenoid from the chair circuit board terminal strip J7

Loosen the nut on the solenoid and remove the solenoid assembly using a screwdriver

Hold a paper clip loosely in your hand

Activate the solenoid by pressing base down on the footswitch or touchpad

Is there a pull on the paper clip?

Describe any issues encountered during the test

Ensure utility cover is removed before starting

Raise the chair base all the way up

Disengage tabs from slots by pulling up and pushing in on the upper lift arm cover

Lift out the upper lift arm cover

Remove the lift arm and lower lift arm cover
