Ensure the ventilation timer is deactivated before starting the check.

Verify that no high voltage is connected to the damper motor.

Activate the ventilation timer. Does the damper open within one minute?

Deactivate the ventilation timer. Does the damper close within one minute?

If the damper fails to operate, perform the following checks:

Did the damper operate after performing the checks?

Inspect the screen on the outdoor fresh air intake port for blockages.

Remove the filter door by pushing the snap button and gently pulling the door away from the unit.

Disengage the door flange from the slot and remove the door.

Remove the old filter by gently pulling it straight out of the unit.

Insert the new filter by pushing it gently straight into the unit.

Replace the filter door by inserting the bottom tab into the slot, aligning the door, and pushing it gently against the unit until the snap button secures the door.
