Vertical Blade ASSY Removal
Warning: Be sure to wait for 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.
Unfasten the 2 hooks of each vertical blade ASSY
Remove the 3 vertical blade ASSYs
When reassembling, connect the 3 vertical blade ASSYs. Fasten the hooks at the connecting points.
Each vertical blade ASSY is united with a drain pan ASSY
Sign off on the Vertical Blade ASSY Removal
Fan Motor Removal
Warning: Be sure to wait for 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.
Loosen the screw of the fan motor from the air outlet.
Remove the screw of the fan motor fixing plate (upper).
Unfasten the hook at the front and remove the fan motor fixing plate (upper).
Release the harness from the hook, and remove the screw of the fan motor fixing plate (lower).
Remove the fan motor fixing plate (lower).
When reassembling the fan motor and the fan rotor, provide as much as 5 mm (0.2 inch) of play between the side face of the rotor and the bottom frame.
Insert the fan motor allowing for approx. 5 mm (0.2 inch) of play.
Tighten the fan rotor screw until it stops. Then give the screw one more turn.
Electrical Box Removal
Warning: Be sure to wait for 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.
Remove the screw
Remove the drip proof plate from the indoor heat exchanger
Remove the screw and release the earth/ground wire
Pull out the indoor heat exchanger thermistor
Remove the screw, and then the wire fixture
Remove the 4 screws on the terminal strip and disconnect the connecting wire
Disconnect the connector [S1] and release the harness from the hook
Release the ferrite core
PCB Removal
Warning: Be sure to wait for 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.
1. Remove the signal receiver PCB.
1) Unfasten the 2 hooks of the shield plate.
2) Open the shield plate and remove it.
The shield plate has 2 hooks at the lower part.
3) Remove the screw, and then the terminal strip.
4) Cut the clamp.
5) Release the harness from the 2 hooks.
When reassembling, make sure to insert the harness into the hook.
Front Grille Removal
Warning: Be sure to wait for 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.
Service cover removed
Number of screws removed from the service cover
Front grille removed
Number of screws removed from the front grille
Number of screw covers removed with a flat screwdriver
Number of lower screws removed
Number of front grille fixtures removed
