Check Damaged or faulty operation found the day before

Check Oil, fuel or coolant leaks

Check Tilt cylinder socket bolts

Hydraulic tank return oil filter

– Bolts and nuts of overhead guard should be retightened.;

Engine stopped and filler cap cool enough to touch?

Forklift parked on level surface with forks lowered, parking brake applied, transmission in NEUTRAL and engine stopped?

Lift truck operated to warm the oil?

Hydraulic tank drain plug removed and oil drained?

Drain plug cleaned and put back in place?

Fill the hydraulic tank to the specified refill capacity

Lift truck parked on a level surface, parking brake applied, transmission in NEUTRAL and the engine stopped

Lift bracket raised high enough to gain access to the level/fill plug

Blocking used under the inner mast to secure the lift bracket in this position

Level/fill plug removed. Lubricant level maintained to the bottom of the level/fill hole

Level/fill plug cleaned and put back in place

Blocking removed. Lift bracket lowered

Powershift transmission oil level checked

When using compressed air for cleaning, wear an approved face shield and protective clothing.

Use maximum air pressure of 2 kgf/cm2 (30 psi) for cleaning purposes.

Never service the air cleaner with the engine running.

Do not clean the elements by striking them against another object.

Always inspect the element before and after cleaning. Use a light inside the element.

Do not use elements with damaged pleats, gaskets or seals.
