Sign off on the motors lubrication

Check the lamellae (4) of the separator (5) for dust and clean if necessary

The lamellae can be reached by opening and pulling down the baffle plate (6) or inspection cover (7)

Sign off on the monthly aspirator maintenance

Check and adjust if necessary finger flaps

Check and lubricate adjusting spindles

To ensure dust-free operation of the machine, the finger flaps (8) and (9) should be checked half-yearly to make sure they just close without any product

If necessary, correct this setting by adjusting the counter-weights (10) (see also Chap. 5.3, 19)

Depending on the product, the distance (X) between the feed box (1) and the rubber plate on the joggle shoe (2) must be set so that the feed box can be completely emptied in idle mode

This distance should be 3–4 mm for fine-grained products (wheat, rye, barley, etc.)
