Stop machine movements, set the safety switch to “0” and lock. Remove the key and keep it with you.

Interrupt the supply of compressed air if present.

Turn spur gear motor (1) a little and screw 4 screws (2) into intermediate ring (3).

Force spur gear motor and intermediate ring off housing panel.

Pull spur gear motor out of rotor.

Remove intermediate ring from spur gear motor.

Check that intermediate ring seal (4) is not damaged and is correctly inserted.

Replacing seal in intermediate ring on flange bearing side

1. Set the safety switch to “0” and lock it. Remove the key and keep it with you.

2. Interrupt the supply of compressed air.

5. Loosen the locking screw (4).

7. Remove seal (5) and insert new one.

► Ensure that opening (A) in seal is facing the machine.

Installation paste applied to hole of rotor and motor shaft
