Disconnect the chamber from the power supply

Select cleaning agents for exterior surfaces

Select cleaning agents for inner chamber, racks, door gaskets

Select cleaning agents for instrument panel

Select cleaning agents for zinc coated hinge parts, rear chamber wall

Thoroughly remove any residues of the charging material

Disconnect the chamber from the power supply by pulling the power plug.

Ensure no decontamination agents that may react with device components are used.

Select the decontamination procedure based on contamination type and charging material.

Use adequate personal safety controls during decontamination.

Wear sealed protective goggles to protect eyes from chemical burns.

Disconnect the power plug before starting maintenance work

Ensure the chamber does not become wet during maintenance

Verify that maintenance is conducted by licensed electricians or authorized experts

Consult BINDER Service for a maintenance agreement

Is the door gasket cold before replacement?

Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., DGUV guidelines 213-850 for Germany).

Verify the chamber type and corresponding safety controller class (2 or 3.1).

Safety Controller Function Check

Is the safety controller functioning properly?

Check if the safety controller alarm message is displayed when the maximum temperature is exceeded.

Temperature Set-Point Verification

Enter the current safety controller set-point temperature.

Adjust the safety controller set-point to 2 °C to 5 °C above the desired temperature set-point.
