Observe guideline BGI/GUV-I 850-0 on safe working in laboratories.

Check operation of the safety device by moving it counter-clockwise until the chamber turns off.

Did the indicator lamp (7a) light up and buzzer sound (if applicable)?

Press the reset button (7b) to release the safety device and turn on the chamber.

Turn the control knob (7) to its end-stop (position 10) for chamber protection.

Did the red alarm lamp (7a) light up and buzzer sound (if applicable)?

Unpacking and Initial Inspection

Check the chamber and optional accessories for completeness and transportation damage

Inform the carrier if transportation damage has occurred

Remove any transportation protection devices and adhesives from the chamber and doors

Take out the operating manuals and accessory equipment

Ensure the chamber is lifted from the pallet at its four lower corners with the aid of 2 people

Disconnect the chamber from the power supply

Ensure no water or cleaning agents spill over surfaces

Select disinfectant for inner chamber

Ensure the unit is completely dry and ventilated before start-up

Disconnect the chamber from the power supply before cleaning.

Wear protective gloves and goggles.

Ensure no water or cleaning agents are spilled over the inner and outer surfaces.

Select the cleaning agents used for different surfaces

Use the neutral cleaning agent Art. No. 1002-0016 where recommended.

Wipe the surfaces with a moistened towel.

Ensure the unit is disconnected from the power source

Verify that the power plug is disconnected

Confirm that maintenance work is conducted by licensed electricians or authorized experts

Ensure the unit does not become wet during maintenance

Do not remove the rear panel of the unit

Replace the door gasket only when the unit is cold
