Atlas Copco Oil-Injected Rotary Screw Compressor GX7 Taff

Ensure no mixing of different brands or types of oil

Check the label on the air receiver/oil tank for the type of oil filled ex-factory

Stop the compressor, close the air outlet valve and switch off the voltage

Depressurise the compressor by unscrewing filler plug one turn

Remove the plug after the system is depressurised

Depressurise the air receiver by opening drain valve

Measure the force applied at the midpoint of the belts

Depressurise by unscrewing oil filler plug one turn

Is the compressor floor-mounted?

Depressurise the filter by opening its drain valve

Is the compressor fitted onto an air receiver?

Inspect the operation of the condensate trap

Does the compressor have a PDX filter?

Check the service indicator on the PDX filter

Is the PDX filter service required?

Replace the PDX filter if necessary

Remove any dirt from the air cooler

Check the tension and the condition of the belts
