Shut down unit operations according to section 3.4 in the manual

Ensure proper lock-out procedures are followed

Is the system pressure eliminated and the unit’s pressure gauges reading '0' pressure?

Drain unit by removing the pump casing drain plug

Remove the capillary connection from the cooling cylinder to the pressure switch

Remove the brass elbow mounted on the pressure switch

Remove the electrical connections to the pressure switch

Disengage operations and ensure all system pressure is relieved

Verify the unit’s pressure gauges read '0'

Verify the Power light on the display is 'off'

Remove the lift-off access panel and set aside

Drain machine by removing the pump casing drain plug

Consult with Advantage Service Department to determine if unit can be converted. Record details of the consultation.

Record Serial Number and call 317-887-0729 for conversion eligibility.

Consult factory for other power conversions and record details.

Field Voltage Changeover Procedure

Disengage process operations and verify all system pressure is relieved and the unit’s pressure gauges read '0'.

Disengage main power supply and verify the Power light on the display is 'off'.

Remove the lift-off access panel and set aside.

Disconnect the valve wiring harness.

Remove the AVTTM valve’s drip cover.

Remove the 2 mounting screws securing the motor/gearbox assembly.

Carefully separate the motor/gearbox from the attached coupling from the valve assembly.

Ensure all necessary equipment is available

Disengage process operations according to the unit manual and ensure all system pressure is relieved.

Remove the 'to process' temperature probe and insert a ½” plug in its place.

Prepare an ice bath and place a digital thermometer in it.

Restart the instrument according to the unit manual.
