1 Yearly Unit Inspection
General Unit Surface Inspection
Complete a general inspection of the unit surface
Check for surface corrosion in spot areas
Corrosion Treatment
Wire brush and clean thoroughly any corroded areas
Resurface cleaned areas with rust inhibitive paint
Spray Header Maintenance
Remove spray header
Flush out spray header
Rooftop Unit Cleaning
IMPORTANT
Ensure coils, blowers, and filters are clean to ensure proper unit operation.
WARNING
Shut off all electrical power to unit to avoid shock hazard or injury from rotating parts.
CLEANING
Inspection and Cleaning
Inspect unit interior at the beginning of each heating and cooling season.

Preparation
Is the bearing at normal operating temperature?
Ensure the fan is not running
Rotate the fan shaft by hand
Lubrication
Select the appropriate grease based on temperature

Filter Inspection and Replacement

Open the filter section door to access the filters
Are the filters dirty or old?
Replace or clean filters with the same size as indicated on the filters

Ensure all filters are in place before operating the unit
