Ensure pump operates in the direction indicated by the arrow on the pump casing.
Has the motor lead been disconnected since the last check?
Check rotation each time motor leads have been disconnected.
Electrical Connections and Specifications
Check all connections of motor and starting device with wiring diagram.
Check voltage of line circuit with motor name plate.
Check phase of line circuit with motor name plate.
Check frequency of line circuit with motor name plate.

Pre-Replacement Safety Check
Turn off power to the unit before opening the access door
Filter Inspection and Replacement
Inspect the following for obstructions to air flow
Access the filter section through the filter section door
Are the filters dirty or old?
Replace or clean the following filters as necessary
Post-Replacement Check
Ensure all filters are in place before operating the unit
Rooftop Unit Cleaning
Safety Precautions
Shut off all electrical power to the unit to avoid shock hazard or injury from rotating parts
Cleaning Components
Ensure the following components are clean
Inspection
Inspect unit interior at the beginning of each heating and cooling season
Is additional cleaning required based on operating conditions?

Sump Maintenance
Clean sump section interior
Shut off water to float valve and open the drain connection for flushing of the sump
Clean sump suction strainer
Water Level and Distribution System
Check water operating level
Adjust float as required
Inspect the water distribution system to ensure nozzles and spray orifices are functioning correctly
Is the circulation pump on and fans off during inspection?
6 Monthly Bearing Lubrication
Preparation
Is the bearing at normal operating temperature?
Ensure the fan is not running
Rotate the fan shaft by hand
Lubrication
Select the appropriate grease based on temperature
Add grease to purge the seals (do not over-lubricate)
Post-Lubrication Check
Check for any grease leakage
