Grab the protruding tongue of the segment to remove and twist it to release the segment from the chain.

Disconnect the belt in that place.

Remove the necessary amount of segments to increase the belt tension.

Connect the shortened belt ends by inserting the protruding tongue through the hole of the other half of the belt.

Grab the second tongue and insert it through the second hole using pliers, then twist it back to the starting position.

Terminate electrical power to the unit

Ensure gas supply pressure is within specified limits

Spray soap solution leak detector on each threaded connection

Observe for bubbles at each connection

List connections with bubbles observed

Inspect joints with bubbles for thread engagement and damage

Obtain access to the pulley side bearing access plate if bearing access plates are provided.

Remove two bearing access plate retaining screws and the access plate.

Using hexagonal wrench, loosen set screw in bearing locking collar.

Using light hammer and drift, tap collar in the direction of wheel rotation to unlock collar.

Using socket wrench with extension, remove two nuts which secure bearing housing to the bearing support beam.

Aluminum Wheel Air Seals Inspection

Check the condition of the non-contact sealing on wheel peripheries and brush sealing middle beam

Are the non-contact seals free from being flipped, rolled, or pierced?

Aluminum Wheel Brush Plate Inspection

Inspect the condition of the brushes and their adherence to the wheel matrix surface

Do the brushes require replacement or repositioning?

Adjust the position of the brushes if necessary

Aluminum Wheel Purge Sector Inspection

Check the condition, rigidness, and cleanliness of the purge sectors

Shut off all electrical power to the unit

Ensure no rotating parts are in motion

Coil Cleaning with Simple Green

Rinse the coil completely with water

Spray the air inlet face of the coil with Simple Green solution

Rinse the coil with water again

Repeat cleaning process if necessary
