Inspect all flue product carrying areas of the furnace and main burners for safe operation

Check gas pipe for leaks before operation and startup

Purge gas supply lines of air before turning on electrical power switch

Turn the gas valve to the on position

Turn the main electrical power on and set controls to heating mode

Did the combustion ventilation motor enable?

Did the control supply energy to the igniter and gas valve?

Inspect blower wheels for excessive dust build up

Inspect blower bands for excessive dust build up

Was cleaning of blower wheels required?

Was cleaning of blower bands required?

Ensure all components are balanced and secure

Describe any damages found due to dust build up

Suction Filter Removal Instructions

Shut down operation of the unit

Close both shut-off valves to isolate the suction filter

Reclaim the refrigerant from the suction filter section

Remove the bolts from the suction filter end plate

Remove the pleated filter assembly

Replace the suction filter end plate and bolts

Evacuate the suction filter assembly to 300 microns

Clean the Energy Recovery Wheel

Polymer Wheel Air Seals Inspection and Adjustment

Inspect the following components

Loosen diameter seal adjusting screws

Back seals away from wheel surface

Rotate wheel clockwise until two opposing spokes are hidden behind the bearing support beam

Use a folded piece of paper as a feeler gauge between the wheel surface and diameter seals

Adjust seals towards wheel surface until slight friction is detected on the feeler gauge

Obtain access to the pulley side bearing access plate if bearing access plates are provided.

Remove two bearing access plate retaining screws and the access plate.

Loosen set screw in bearing locking collar using hexagonal wrench.

Tap collar in the direction of wheel rotation to unlock collar using light hammer and drift.

Remove two nuts securing bearing housing to the bearing support beam using socket wrench with extension.
