Remove the adjustment screw cap(s) on the regulator

To decrease the gas pressure, turn the adjusting screw counterclockwise

To increase the gas pressure, turn the adjusting screw clockwise

Enter the current manifold pressure

Is the manifold pressure set to the factory standard of 3.50 IWG?

Note: The actual manifold pressure depends on the local fuel heating value

Close main manual shut-off valve

Shut off all electric power to the unit

Remove screws holding manifold to burner supports

Open union fitting in gas supply line upstream of unit gas valve

Remove gas piping closure panel

Disconnect wiring to gas valves and spark ignitors

Remove manifold-burner gas valve assembly by lifting up and pulling back

Loosen six nuts (top and bottom) A

Ensure nuts (C) are not loosened

Use belt tension checker to apply a perpendicular force to one belt at the midpoint of the span

Enter the deflection distance obtained

Record the deflection force used

Check belt tension at least two times during the first 24 hours of operation

Record any retensioning adjustments made

Check that all filters are in place and clean

Are the filters clean and in good condition?

Replace filters if they are dirty or damaged

Ensure correct filter size and type are used

Verify that filters are installed ahead of evaporator coil

Are panel latches properly positioned to maintain an airtight seal?

Clean all piping of dirt and scale by hammering on the outside of the pipe.

Blow out loose particles from the piping.

Have all gas lines external to the unit been purged of air?
