Check that all filters are in place and clean

Clean or replace filters if necessary

Ensure filters are installed ahead of evaporator coil

Are the filters installed correctly?

Is the unit operating with filters properly installed?

Ensure all safety precautions are in place

Remove screws holding manifold to burner supports

Open the union fitting in the gas supply line

Remove the gas piping closure panel

Disconnect wiring to gas valves and spark ignitors

Remove manifold-burner gas valve assembly

Replace assemblies ensuring burners are level and seated

Adjust burner shutters to ensure no yellow flame is observed

Ensure no open flames are present in the area.

Use only approved pipe dope for assembling pipes.

Ensure the main shut-off valve is open to admit normal gas pressure.

Prepare a commercially available soap solution for leak detection.

Apply the soap solution to all joints and connections.

Check each joint for bubbles indicating a leak.

Clean all piping of dirt and scale by hammering on the outside of the pipe.

Blow out loose particles from the piping.

Have all gas lines external to the unit been purged of air?

Check for proper compressor rotation

Verify electrical connection for correct phasing

Change the phasing of the Field Line Connection if necessary

Check for proper supply air blower rotation

Verify line voltage at the unit point of power connection for correct phasing

Observe scroll compressor for low amperage, similar suction and discharge pressures, or high noise level

Ensure no internal wiring changes are made to correct rotation
