Coolant Level Check
Coolant Level Inspection
Park the vehicle on a level surface.
Wait for the engine to cool for an accurate reading.
Check the coolant level in the coolant reservoir.
Is the coolant at or below the minimum level mark?
Coolant Refill
Remove the coolant reservoir cap if the level is low.
Add coolant to the maximum level mark.
Install the reservoir cap.

Turn the adjusting nut in direction (a) to make the brake light come on earlier
Turn the adjusting nut in direction (b) to make the brake light come on later
Verify the brake light comes on just before braking takes effect
Check that the brake light switch is securely fastened
Test the brake light functionality after adjustment
Describe any issues encountered during the adjustment
Parking Brake Lever Free Play Adjustment
Shift the drive select lever into low gear “L”
Check the parking brake lever free play
Is the parking brake lever free play within the maximum limit of one click?
Release the parking brake lever
Slide the rubber cover back on the parking brake cable
Loosen the locknut
Turn the adjusting nut to adjust the free play
Turn the adjusting nut in direction (a) to increase the free play
Turn the adjusting nut in direction (b) to decrease the free play
