Adjust gap and clean spark plug

Replace spark plug if necessary

Air Induction System Inspection

Check air induction system components for damage

Replace any damaged parts if necessary

WARNING: Ensure engine is stopped and exhaust system is cool before cleaning

Clean carbon deposits from the spark arrester and tailpipe housing

Use a wire brush to remove carbon deposits

Reinstall the gasket and tailpipe

Insert the tailpipe into the muffler and align the bolt holes

Install the bolts and tighten them to the specified torque

Check fuel hose for cracks or damage

Adjust valve clearance if necessary

Adjust spark plug gap and clean if necessary

Remove quick fastener screws, nuts, and bolts

Remove the brake/tail light bulb holder by turning it counterclockwise

Remove the burnt-out bulb by pushing and turning it counterclockwise

Install a new bulb by pushing and turning it clockwise

Install the bulb holder by turning it clockwise

Park the vehicle on a level surface

Remove the engine oil dipstick and wipe it off with a clean rag

Insert the dipstick completely into the oil filler hole and remove it again

Is the engine oil between the minimum and maximum level marks?
