Press a dry disposable cloth against the blade surface and wipe away from the center

Clean the back of the blade in the same manner

Insert a dry disposable cloth between blade and guard ring and turn blade

Set slice thickness below '0' (black marking)

Wear cut-proof gloves when cleaning

Ensure the machine is not operating while cleaning the blade

Do not use a high-pressure cleaner

Tilt the carriage to the outside

Turn out star-grip screw on carriage foot

Tilt carriage outwards following the direction of the arrow

Move product holder away from blade and swivel it up using handle

Remove the remnant holder plate from the pusher guard

Thoroughly clean the entire machine

Clean or exchange the grinding discs if necessary

Lubricate the product holder guide shaft with Bizerba machine oil

Check annular gap between blade and guard ring

Record any issues with the blade or sharpening process
