NOTICE: Insufficient maintenance on the air filter

Describe any noticeable decrease in machine power or damage

Undo the countersunk screw (Fig. 5/g1)

Remove the plastic cover (Fig. 5/h1)

Remove and clean the filter parts

Re-assemble the filter parts in reverse order

Is the machine power restored to normal levels?

WARNING: Heavily contaminated air oil removing devices

Check the number of oil separator elements to replace

Enter the filter resistance from the pressure gauge

Is the filter resistance 0.7 bar or higher?

Undo the air oil removers using a ring spanner (19 mm or 3/4”) rotating counter clockwise

Insert new air oil removers with the open lock symbol and arrow ▼ on the insert

Fix the new air oil removers by turning clockwise until it clicks into place

Note any observations or issues during the replacement process

Start the motor briefly (max. two seconds) to check the direction of rotation.

Is the motor fan rotating clockwise when viewed from the motor fan side?

Use a phase sequence indicator to check the direction of rotation (anti-clockwise rotating field).

Was the direction of rotation corrected?

Start the motor again and stop it after 2 minutes.

Top up missing oil to the upper edge of the sight glass (Fig. 2/I).

Check for leaks and proper seating

Seal or tighten pipes and screws if necessary

Inspection of Terminal Box and Cable Inlet Holes

Check for leaks in terminal box and cable inlet holes

Re-seal terminal box and cable inlet holes if necessary

Clean the ventilation slots on the machine

Clean or replace the micro filter

Remove the cover after undoing the screws

Remove the suction flange after undoing the screws

Re-assemble the cover and suction flange in reverse order

Fit a shut-off device on the suction side
