Describe any observed reduction in machine power or damage
Filter Cleaning Procedure
Undo the countersunk screw (Fig. 5/g1)
Remove the plastic cover (Fig. 5/h1)
Remove and clean the filter parts
Re-assemble the filter parts in reverse order

Is the machine power restored to normal levels?

Check for leaks and proper seating
Seal or tighten pipes and screws if necessary
Terminal Box and Cable Inlet Inspection

Clean the ventilation slots on the machine
2000 Hourly Separator Element Change
WARNING: Heavily contaminated air oil removing devices
Check the number of separator elements to replace
Enter the filter resistance from the pressure gauge
Is the filter resistance 0.7 bar or higher?
Separator Element Replacement
Undo the air oil removers using a ring spanner (19 mm or 3/4”) rotating counter clockwise
Insert new air oil removers with the open lock symbol and arrow ▼ on the insert
Fix the new air oil removers by turning clockwise until it clicks into place
Describe the contamination level of the discharged medium
Rotation Direction Check
Initial Rotation Check
Start the motor briefly (max. two seconds) to check the direction of rotation.
Is the motor fan rotating clockwise when viewed from the motor fan?
Correcting Rotation Direction
Use a phase sequence indicator to check the direction of rotation (anti-clockwise rotating field).
Was the direction of rotation corrected?
Oil Top-Up Procedure
Start the motor again and stop it after 2 minutes.
Top up missing oil to the upper edge of the sight glass (Fig. 2/I).

Check the oil level at the sight glass (Fig. 7/I).
Is the oil level at the upper edge of the sight glass?
Top up the oil if necessary to reach the upper edge of the sight glass.
