Ensure parts are not placed on top of each other to avoid mechanical damage.

Tilt the carriage to the outside.

Turn out star-grip screw on carriage foot.

Tilt carriage outwards following the direction of the arrow.

Using handle, move product holder away from blade and swivel it up.

Thoroughly clean the entire machine

Is the blade sharp enough or does it need re-sharpening?

Check if grinding discs need cleaning or exchanging

Use Bizerba machine oil to lubricate the product holder guide shaft

Ensure blade is not changed by unauthorized personnel

Wear cut-proof gloves and shoes with toe caps when handling the blade

Is the annular gap between the blade and guard ring 6 mm or more?

Set slice thickness below '0' (black marking)

Press a wet disposable cloth against the blade surface and slowly wipe away from the center

Clean the back of the blade in the same manner

Repeat using a dry disposable cloth

Is the power plug disconnected?

Press a dry disposable cloth against the blade surface and slowly wipe away from the center

Clean the back of the blade in the same manner

Insert a dry disposable cloth from the front between blade and guard ring
