Grease the bearings and bushings.

Lubricate all of the bearings and bushings every 100 hours or once a year, whichever occurs first. Grease them more frequently when using the machine for heavy-duty operations.

Grease Type: Number 2 General Purpose Lithium-Base Grease

The grease fittings are located at the 4 tie-rod ends and the 2 king pins.

Sign off on the bearings and bushings lubrication

Service Interval: Every 100 hours/Yearly (whichever comes first)—Check the front wheel toe-in and camber.

Important: You will need to obtain tool number TORO 6010 from your Toro Distributor to perform this procedure.

Is the weight or operator on the seat for the duration of the procedure?

Did you roll the machine straight back 2 to 3 m (6 to 10 ft) and then straight forward to the original starting position?

Did you measure the toe-in with the wheels facing straight ahead?

Did you place a 90 degree square on the ground with the vertical edge touching the face of the tire?

Inspect the condition and wear of the tires

Check the wheels to ensure that they are mounted securely

Torque the lug nuts to 61 to 88 N-m (45 to 65 ft-lb)

Torque the fill plug to 20 to 27 N-m (15 to 20 ft-lb)

Inspect the brake shoes for wear or damage

Inspect the backing plate and other components for signs of excessive wear or deformation

Warning: Charging the battery produces gasses that can explode. Never smoke near the batteries and keep sparks and flames away from them.

Is the machine positioned in a well-ventilated area near a suitable power outlet?

Is the charger cord connected to the charging receptacle on the machine?

Does the charger voltage setting match the voltage at the power outlet being used?

Is the charger power cord plugged into the power outlet?

Is the green light on the charger blinking on and off?

Is the green light on the charger steady, indicating the batteries are fully charged?

Is the cord disconnected from the power outlet?

Is the charger disconnected from the machine?

Park the machine on a level surface, set the parking brake, turn the On/Off switch to Off, and remove the key

Remove the rubber plug in the center and on top of the dash to gain access to the master brake cylinder and reservoir

Look at the side of the reservoir, and ensure that the fluid level is above the Minimum line

If the fluid level is low, clean the area around the cap, remove the cap, and fill the reservoir to above the Minimum line. Do not overfill

Check the brake and parking brake and adjust as needed
