Interior Cleaning
Preparation
Power off the instrument and disconnect it from line voltage
Initial Cleaning
Blow off dust with dry, low-pressure, deionized air (approximately 9 psi)
Remove remaining dust with a lint-free cloth dampened in isopropyl alcohol (75% solution) and wipe with a lint-free cloth dampened with warm deionized water
Conditional Cleaning
Is the module clean after initial cleaning?
Spray wash modules (except Display and Front Panel) with 75% isopropyl alcohol
Spray wash dirty parts with 75% isopropyl alcohol and wait 60 seconds for evaporation
Oscilloscope Factory Calibration Adjustment
Pre-Adjustment Preparation
Warm up the oscilloscope for at least ten minutes in an ambient temperature between 20 °C and 30 °C
Service Menu Activation
Enable the Service menu
Push the Service option button
Push the Factory Cal option button
Warmup Timer Setup
Push the Warmup Timer option button
Push the Start Timer option button to allow a 10-minute warmup

Clean the oscilloscope exterior with a dry, lint-free cloth.
Ensure no liquids or solvents are used during cleaning.
Storage and Handling Recommendations
Is the oscilloscope stored away from direct sunlight and high humidity?
Is the oscilloscope protected from adverse weather conditions?
