Shaft Seal Replacement
Warning: This procedure requires trained personnel with PPE!
Power supply in the motor isolator disconnected?
Steam and flushing water supply turned off?
Inlet and discharge of the pump closed?
No liquid in the pump body?
Clamp ring or body screws released?
Pump body and impeller removed?
Stationary seal face removed from the back plate?
O-ring removed from the stationary seal face?
Motor Replacement
Warning: This procedure requires trained personnel with PPE!
Power supply locked out and pump and motor disconnected from the system
Pump body removed
Impeller removed
Pump stood on end
Four motor flange bolts between the motor and motor adapter removed
Back plate, motor adapter and spacer flange lifted up and off the shaft
Screws in the base of the shaft loosened, shaft pulled off and motor replaced
Dirt and grease removed from the motor shaft and the base's internal clamping surfaces
