Switch off the inverter and wait at least 15 minutes before opening it.

Remove dirt and dust from the inverter interior and from all devices.

If leaks are present, were they fixed?

Remove moisture from the inverter.

Switch off the inverter and wait at least 15 minutes before opening it

Ensure capacitors are fully discharged

Check for damaged or missing warning messages or labels

Are any warning messages or labels missing or illegible?

Replace any missing or illegible warning messages and labels

Order labels as a complete set if necessary

Ensure you have the following materials

Switch off the inverter and wait at least 15 minutes before opening it to allow the capacitors to discharge completely.

Seal Inspection and Maintenance

Check whether the seals in the sealing area show any damage.

Apply talcum, petroleum jelly or wax to seals to prevent frost damage.

After removing the side panels, check whether the side panel seals display any damage in the sealing area.

Ensure a high-temperature resistant, chemically inert special grease is available

Switch off the inverter and wait at least 15 minutes before opening it

Check fuses/disconnection blades and tension springs for discoloration or change in appearance

Check insulation and terminals for discoloration or change in appearance

Handling Fuses/Disconnection Blades

Remove fuses/disconnection blades one by one using a fuse extractor

Switch off the inverter and wait at least 15 minutes before opening it to allow the capacitors to discharge completely.

Disconnect the inverter (see Section 4, page 26).

Connect the supply voltage (see Section 4.3.1, page 28)

Measure the voltage at the supply voltage output between L1 and N

Is the voltage approximately 230 V?

Contact Service if voltage deviates significantly

Measure the voltage at the supply voltage output of the UPS at -X400 terminal 5 and -X402 terminal 5
