Load Chain Cleaning
Load Chain Cleaning Process
Clean the load chain with acid-free solvent
Coat the load chain with SAE 90 gear oil
Wipe excess oil to prevent dripping
Ensure no grease is applied to the chain

Preparation
Run hook up to its top limit
Disconnect hoist from power supply
Remove the electrical cover
Limit Switch Adjustment
Pry the spring guide plate out of the slots in the limit switch nuts
Turn the gold nut back to about the center of the threaded screw
Ensure wires are not disconnected from the limit switches

Loosen the screw clamps on the reversing contactor

Separate the hoist sections at the top hook line
Disassembly
Remove the Socket Head Cap Screw and Attachment Pin that hold in the Chain Stripper
Remove the Chain Stripper
Remove the 4 bolts that hold on the Motor
Remove the Motor
Remove the Spring Washer and Motor Coupling
Limit Switch Adjustment
Pre-Adjustment Check
Ensure hoist is not in operation
Verify the limit switch adjustment is needed
Limit Switch Identification
Identify the type of limit switch
Adjustment Process
Identify the limit switch adjusting nuts
Enter the number of slots to adjust the limit nut
