Coffing Chain Hoist JLC0516

Clean the load chain with acid-free solvent

Coat the load chain with SAE 90 gear oil

Wipe excess oil to prevent dripping

Ensure no grease is applied to the chain

Disconnect hoist from power supply

Pry the spring guide plate out of the slots in the limit switch nuts

Turn the gold nut back to about the center of the threaded screw

Ensure wires are not disconnected from the limit switches

Disconnect the hoist from the power supply

Loosen the screw clamps on the terminal blocks

Loosen the screw clamps on the reversing contactor

Remove the four motor mounting bolts

Disconnect the Hoist and remove to a workbench

Separate the hoist sections at the top hook line

Remove the Socket Head Cap Screw and Attachment Pin that hold in the Chain Stripper

Remove the 4 bolts that hold on the Motor

Remove the Spring Washer and Motor Coupling

Ensure hoist is not in operation

Verify the limit switch adjustment is needed

Identify the type of limit switch

Identify the limit switch adjusting nuts

Enter the number of slots to adjust the limit nut

Did you move the limit switch nuts toward each other to decrease hook travel?
