Check the ventilation grids for visible damage.

Check for damage in the sealing area

Apply talcum, petroleum jelly or wax to seals to prevent frost damage

Check for damage in the side panel seals after removing the side panels

Switch off the inverter and wait at least 15 minutes before opening it to allow the capacitors to discharge completely.

Ensure you have the following materials

Check whether the doors latch easily by opening and closing them several times.

Lubricate all moving parts of the latch if the doors do not latch easily.

Check whether the stops hold the doors in place.

Switch off the inverter and wait at least 15 minutes before opening it.

Pull the ventilation plate out of the inverter cabinet by gripping underneath and pressing the middle part up while pulling it out.

Clean the ventilation plate with a brush or vacuum.

Slide the ventilation plate into the inverter cabinet ensuring the ventilation grid faces the rear panel.

Does the ventilation grid end up flush with the inverter?
