Decommission the defective product

Mount the replacement device and make the electrical connections

Commission the replacement device

Establish a connection to the user interface of the inverter

Replace the defective product in the System Manager

Return of the defective product

Pack the defective product in the packaging of the replacement device

Arrange with SMA Solar Technology AG for the defective product to be picked up

Check the temperature of the inverter

Check the inverter for dust contamination

Is cleaning of the enclosure necessary?

Clean the enclosure with a cloth moistened with clear water

Ensure the product is free of debris

Check for fan event message or unusual noises when the fan is rotating

Disconnect the inverter from all voltage sources

Loosen the screw on the sealing plate of the fan (PH2) and remove the sealing plate

Release the plug connections of the fans

Remove adapters if used for the connectors

Loosen the screw on the fan holder (PH2)
