Button Tripping Mechanism Testing
Close the circuit breaker
Use a thin screwdriver to briefly push in (<1 s) the test button on the control unit
Check that the circuit breaker is open
Check that the blue fault-trip reset button has popped out
Check that the Ig/IΔn LED is on
Check that the SDE contacts have switched
Reset the circuit breaker after the test

Close the circuit breaker
Testing Procedure
Use a thin screwdriver to briefly push in (<1 s) the test button on the control unit
Check the following conditions after pushing the test button

Reset the circuit breaker
M2C Programmable Contacts and IO Module Check
Connect PC to Micrologic X control unit
Force state of M2C programmable contacts inputs
Force state of IO modules
Record any issues found during the check
Confirm all connections are secure after testing
Circuit Breaker Visual Inspection
Record equipment identification
Check that the device is undamaged, correctly mounted, and securely fastened in the switchboard
Check the 3-phase clearance at terminal blocks
Check that there is no debris remaining at the back of the device housing/enclosure
Check that the ground terminals of the device are securely connected with the correct grounding cables
Check that all external surfaces are undamaged
Rectify any non-conformities, if possible
Refer all equipment non-conformities to asset management
Electrical Continuity Check
Close the device
Check electrical continuity for each phase
Check continuity on the power terminals for fixed device
Check continuity on the chassis power terminals for drawout device in connected position
Post-check actions
Is the continuity within acceptable range for all phases?
