Connect the DC power supply and the auxiliary source to the Chamber.

Power Supply and Control Panel Check

Check the Power Supply and connections

Is the DC Power Indicator illuminated?

Is the Low Battery Indicator not illuminated?

Control Panel Speaker and Volume Check

Turn the Master Control Knob to the On position.

Compression Purge Flow Rate Control Check

Record the current purge flow rate from the Purge Rate Flowmeter

Is the purge flow rate between 300 - 400 lpm?

Adjust the Compression Purge Flow Rate control handle if necessary

Verify the setting during the first 10 minutes of a compression cycle

Plateau Purge Flow Rate Control Check

Record the current purge flow rate from the Purge Rate Flowmeter

Is the purge flow rate between 80 - 400 lpm?

Adjust the Plateau Purge Flow Rate control handle if necessary

Check the end of the vent line on the exterior of the building

Ensure the screen on the end of the vent line is not occluded

Turn the Master Control Knob to the On position

Adjust the Compression Purge Flow Rate to 300 lpm

Adjust the Rate Set display to 1 psig/min

Adjust the Pressure Set digital display to 30.0 psig (3.04 ATA, 0.207 MPa, 206.9 kPa) by turning the Pressure Set Knob clockwise

Record the time for pressure increase

Record time for pressure increase from 5.0 to 6.0 psig (1.34 to 1.41 ATA, 0.035 to 0.041 MPa, 34.5 to 41.4 kPa)

Record time for pressure increase from 14.0 to 15.0 psig (1.95 to 2.02 ATA, 0.097 to 0.103 MPa, 96.5 to 103.4 kPa)

Record time for pressure increase from 25.0 to 26.0 psig (2.70 to 2.77 ATA, 0.172 to 0.179 MPa, 172.4 to 179.3 kPa)

Is the time period within 60 seconds (± 10 seconds)?

Ensure maintenance is performed within 9 to 15 months of service

Verify that all maintenance tools and materials are prepared

Inspect gas supply for contamination

Is the gas supply free from hydrocarbons?

Check that all filters and mechanisms are clean

Clean filters and mechanisms if necessary
