Connect the DC power supply and the auxiliary source to the Chamber.

Is the DC Power Indicator illuminated?

Is the Low Battery Indicator not illuminated?

Control Panel Speaker and Volume Check

Turn the Master Control Knob to the On position.

Avoid abrasion of the polished Acrylic Cylinder during cleaning.

Use only a damp pure cotton or linen cloth to remove dust.

Never allow liquids or solvents to contact the Acrylic Cylinder.

Avoid using any oil or alcohol based substances on the Acrylic Cylinder.

Wipe the Cylinder with a soft, 100% cotton, lint free, water moistened cloth.

Wash the Cylinder with a soft, 100% cotton, lint free cloth moistened with a mild detergent solution.

Turn the Master Control Knob to the On position

Adjust the Compression Purge Flow Rate to 300 lpm

Adjust the Rate Set display to 1 psig/min

Adjust the Pressure Set digital display to 30.0 psig (3.04 ATA, 0.207 MPa, 206.9 kPa) by turning the Pressure Set Knob clockwise

Record the amount of time required for the pressure to increase from 5.0 to 6.0 psig, 14.0 to 15.0 psig, and 25.0 to 26.0 psig

Is the time period for pressure increase 60 seconds (± 10 seconds)?

Contact SECHRIST INDUSTRIES if the rate of compression does not meet the required specifications

Adjust the Pressure Set to the idle 1.5 psig by turning the Pressure Set Knob counter-clockwise

Record the amount of time required for the pressure to decrease from 26.0 to 25.0 psig, 15.0 to 14.0 psig, and 6.0 to 5.0 psig

Disinfect the Chamber according to the type of cases being treated and as directed by the medical staff.

Wash the Chamber and all surfaces

Use approved disinfectant or mild dish washing soap for cleaning surfaces

Use only Sechrist Industries qualified disinfectants for the acrylic Viewport window

Ensure maintenance is performed within 9 to 15 months of service

Verify that all maintenance personnel are aware of the importance of keeping filters and mechanisms clean

Inspect gas supply for contamination

Is the gas supply free from hydrocarbons?
