Inspect diaphragm plates for issues

Inspect intermediate bearings for issues

Inspect diaphragm rod for issues

Clean or repair diaphragms if appropriate

Pre-maintenance safety procedures

Shut off the compressed air line

Disconnect the air line from the pump

Remove plunger, actuator (29) from center of intermediate pilot valve cavity

Remove Ring, Retaining (30) and discard

Inspect bushing, plunger (7) for wear

Replace bushing, plunger (7) if necessary with genuine parts

Is the pump operating erratically or has it stopped?

Inspect the air exhaust muffler for blockage or icing

Clean or de-ice the muffler screen as required

Is there water in the compressed air supply?

Inspect all fasteners for loosening caused by gasket creep

Retighten loose fasteners to recommended torque values

Inspect all suction-side gaskets and pipe connections for air leakage

Check all suction screens or strainers for obstructions

Inspect the air exhaust muffler for blockage, icing, or presence of pumped fluid

Inspect the air exhaust piping routing for safe containment of hazardous or toxic product

Verify installation of optional air line lubricator

Check air distribution system operation mode

Set lubricator to deliver one drop of SAE 10 non-detergent oil for every 20 SCFM (9.4 liters/sec.) of air consumed

Consult the Performance Curve to determine air consumption

Check for signs of over-lubrication (e.g., sluggish cycling or stalling)

Adjust lubricator to lowest possible setting if issues occur
