Pitco Portable Filter P18K

Ensure the filter assembly has cooled to room temperature before handling any filter parts.

Do not lift the filter machine off the floor for cleaning.

Refer to DRAWING 1 & 2 on page 2 of the manual for disassembly instructions.

Disassemble the filter pan and pick-up assembly.

Empty crumb catch basket of all debris.

Separate pick-up assembly quick disconnect from filter machine.

Unscrew pick-up tube from paper support screen and store threaded coupling safely.

Ensure protective clothing is worn

Ensure fryer drain lines are positioned over crumb catch basket in filter machine filter pan

Ensure filter machine shortening return spout is positioned over the fryer tank

Ensure filter machine has filter paper installed and is clean

Ensure power cord is plugged in

Turn fryer front panel power switch to the 'OFF' position
