40 Hourly / 1 Weekly Cut Maintenance
Task 1.7 Fill turntable cuts
To prolong the table top life the cuts should be filled in weekly (or as needed).
Type of cement used
Cement mixed to 'toothpaste' consistency
Cement filled into the cuts using a straightedge trowel
Only cuts filled, no addition to the top of the table
Sign off on the maintenance task
160 Hourly Bridge Saw Maintenance
WARNING: Verify that all power sources are have been turned off and isolated before working inside the electrical enclosures!
Inspect the machine for missing or loose fasteners
Inspect the entire machine (bridge and turntable) for loose or missing fasteners
Ensure all of the connectors in all of the electrical panels are tight and that there are no loose wires
Hydraulic tilt table power unit - Reservoir should be kept full of Hydraulic Oil ISO VS Grade 32 to 1 & 1/2” below fill cap
Change oil if it becomes dirty
Inspect all fittings and hoses monthly for wear or leakage
Check and refill as required (Hydraulic Oil ISO VS Grade 32)
Check and refill as required - Full level is 1 1/2” below the fill tube
960 Hourly Bridge Saw Maintenance
Task 5.1 X axis ear box - Drain and refill to level plug. (Synthetic Gear Oil ISO VS Grade 460).
Task 5.2 Y axis gear box - Drain and refill to level plug. (Synthetic Gear Oil ISO VS Grade 460).
Task 5.3 Z axis gear box - Drain and refill to level plug. (Synthetic Gear Oil ISO VS Grade 460).;
960 Hourly / 6 Monthly Hourly Bridge Saw Lubrication
Task 5.4 Lubricate the Nexen brakes on the turn table (Air tool oil - Three places)
WARNING: Do not attempt this with the table in the raised position! Brake lubrication should only be performed with the brakes engaged! The brakes are spring-applied and require air pressure to release. Do not attempt to pull air lines off with air in the system!
Lubricate all 3 brakes
Lubricate all three air brakes every six months
Use a low viscosity oil such as SAE-10. Synthetic lubricants are not recommended.
To pull the air lines out of the Fittings, push in the end of the fitting and pull out the air at the same time. (You may want to use a small open end wrench to push in the end of the fitting.)
Pull out air line. Add Two drops of oil into the elbow fitting and reconnect the air line.
Pull out in-coming air line. Add two drops of oil into the tee fitting and reconnect the line.
Sign off on the lubrication procedure
40 Hourly Bridge Saw Maintenance
Task 1.1 X axis gear and rack - Recommend using a dry lubricant (Chain Wax).
Clean the gear and gear rack with a wire rush and then lubricate with Way Oil ISO VS Grade 68 or chain wax (dry lubricant). Also check for excessive wear.
Task 1.2 Z axis lubrication:
• Bearings - One pump of grease in each bearing (Lithium EP2 Grease).
• Ways - Wipe down with oily rag . (Way Oil ISO VS Grade 68)
Lubricate at fittings, 4 Places 2 on the top and 2 on the bottom (One pump of Lithium EP2 Grease)
Using an oily rag to clean and lubricate. (Way Oil ISO VS Grade 68)
• Screw nut - Two pumps of grease, one at the lower limit, and one midway of travel. (Lithium EP2 Grease)
