Check the current operating hours of the reducer

Determine the ambient temperature range

Select the appropriate lubricant based on ambient temperature

Drain the old lubricant from the reducer

Inspect the drained lubricant for metal particles or contaminants

Dispose of the old lubricant according to environmental regulations

Refill the reducer with the selected lubricant

Check for leaks after refilling

Record the lubricant change in the maintenance log

Enter the air pressure of the drives tire (Model 181-Turntable)

Is the tire pressure within the recommended range?

Select the type of bearings present

Are the bearings permanently lubricated?

Clean off grease zerk fittings before lubrication

Wipe excess lube from the shaft seals

Ensure the turntable is powered off

Gather necessary tools and replacement parts

Loosen the table bearing set screws

Replace the caster with a New London Engineering replacement part

Check and adjust belting take up tension

Track the belting at both ends of the conveyor

Check the belt splice for any damage

Is the reducer vent plug clear and operating?

Enter the current oil level at the level plug

Is the oil level at the bottom of the threaded hole of the level plug?

Is extra oil required due to conveyor and reducer inclination?

Clean the area around the reducer
