Remove the service panel

4-Way Valve Coil Disassembling
Remove the service panel

Remove 4-way valve coil fixing screw (M5 × 7)
Remove the 4-way valve coil by sliding the coil toward you
Disconnect the connector 21S4 (green) on the outdoor multi controller circuit board in the electrical parts box
Sign off on the disassembling process

Remove 4 fan grille fixing screws (5 × 12) to detach the fan grille

Remove a nut (for right handed screw of M6) to detach the propeller

Disconnect the connector CNF1 on the multi controller circuit board in the electrical parts box
Solenoid Valve Coil and Solenoid Valve Disassembling

Connector SV1 (Gray) on the multi controller circuit board disconnected
Electrical parts box removed
Solenoid valve coil fixing screw (M4 ×6) removed
Solenoid valve coil removed by sliding the coil upward
Refrigerant recovered
Welded part of solenoid valve removed
TH2 and TH4 Thermistors Disassembling
(1) Remove the service panel. (See Photo 1)
(2) Remove the top panel. (See Photo 1)
(3) Disconnect the following connectors on the controller circuit board in the electrical parts box.
•TH2: Black
•TH4:White
[Removing the thermistor <HIC> (TH2)]
(4) Loosen the fastener fixing the connector to the electrical parts box. (See Photo 10)
(5) Pull out the thermistor <HIC> (TH2) from the sensor holder. (See Photo 13)
