Test that the E-stop circuit prevents movement

Push the red E-stop button on the operator control station while jigging a truss automatically. All PLANX should stop immediately.

Attempt to manually run the pucks on the first PLANX assembly by pressing the FWD/REV button located on the control box for that PLANX assembly. The pucks should not move.

Repair the electrical system if the puck moves while the E-stop is actuated.

Repeat the E-stop test for all other PLANX assemblies.

Reset the E-stop circuit after testing by pulling straight out on the red E-stop button, then pressing the RESET button.

Check that all guards and safety devices are in place and secure

Check for worn or damaged parts

Have worn or damaged parts been repaired or replaced?

Ensure all safety devices are in working order

Are all safety devices and electrical interlocks connected and not bypassed?

Inspect the quality of the finished product
