Check for worn or damaged parts

Repair or replace worn or damaged parts immediately

Ensure all safety devices are in working order before each shift starts

Verify all protective guards and safety devices are in place

Confirm no safety device or electrical interlock is disconnected or bypassed

Inspect the quality of the finished product periodically

System Startup and E-stop Testing

Push the red E-stop button on the operator control station while jigging a truss automatically. All PLANX should stop immediately.

Attempt to manually run the pucks on the first PLANX assembly by pressing the FWD/REV button. The pucks should not move.

Repair the electrical system if the puck moves while the E-stop is actuated.

Repeat E-stop test for all other PLANX assemblies.

Reset the E-stop circuit by pulling straight out on the red E-stop button, then pressing the RESET button.
