Is the printer OFF (the green status light is off)?

Is the charger connected to the printer?

Is the charger plugged into a standard AC power outlet?

Is the printer’s green LED flashing about once per second while the batteries are charging?

Has the LED stopped flashing indicating the batteries are fully charged?

Warning: Always wear protective gloves and goggles when cleaning the clamps.

Are the clamps free of grease, dirt, and sulfation?

Describe the condition of the battery case and terminals before cleaning.

Did you clean the battery case and terminals using a wire brush and a mixture of water and baking soda?

Did you clean the clamps using a mixture of baking soda and water, or a mild hand-soap, and a small bristle brush?

Upload a photo of the cleaned clamps.

Sign off on the clamps cleaning

Warning: Ensure the printer is turned on before starting the procedure.

Did you open the paper cup lid?

Did you remove the remaining paper using the MODE button?

Warning: Do not pull the paper through the printer mechanism.

Did you reel off a few inches from a new roll of paper and check that the end has a clean, straight edge?

Did you slide the leading edge of the paper into the entry point of the mechanism just below the roller, with the leading edge of the paper feeding forward from the bottom of the roll?

Did the printer detect the paper and feed it through to the correct position for printing?

If the paper becomes creased or out of alignment, cut the end of the paper roll and feed out the creased paper using the MODE button.

Did you reload the paper, ensuring that the paper has a clean straight edge?

IMPORTANT: It is important to input the correct test parameters. If you use the wrong parameters, an inaccurate test result will occur.

Cracked, buckled, or leaking case

Corroded, loose, or damaged cables and connections

Corrosion on the battery terminals, dirt, or acid on the case top

Corroded or loose battery terminals, tray and hold-down fixture
