Heater Surfaces Cleaning
Preparation
Ensure the heater is turned off and cooled down before cleaning.
Wear protective gloves to prevent burns.

Wipe heater surfaces with a clean, non-synthetic cloth.

Return the heater to its insulated heater shroud.

Locate the tensioner beside the rear pipe lift
Adjust Belt Tension
Loosen the jam nut
Tighten the spherical nut to 6-10 ft lbs
Start the engine
Is there any belt slip or noise detected?
If slip or noise is detected, tighten the tensioner until it is eliminated but do not exceed 15 ft lbs
Track Tension Check
Preparation
Park the machine on a flat solid surface
Use the lifting sling to raise machine off the ground
Place adequate supports under the bottom frame after lifting
Track Tension Measurement
Measure the deflection between the bottom center roller and the inside surface of the rubber track (in inches)
Is the track tension normal (approximately 1/2" deflection)?
