Measure the current antifreeze level

Is the antifreeze level adequate?

Is additional antifreeze needed?

Add antifreeze in a 50/50 mix with water

Is it time to replace the antifreeze mixture?

Park the machine on a flat solid surface

Use the lifting sling to raise machine off the ground

Place adequate supports under the bottom frame after lifting

Measure the deflection between the bottom center roller and the inside surface of the rubber track

Is the track tension normal (deflection about 1/2")?

Hydraulic Fluid Level Inspection

Check the hydraulic fluid level in the reservoir

Is the hydraulic fluid visible in the reservoir strainer?

Fill the reservoir with hydraulic fluid until fluid is visible in the strainer

Ensure no dirt, water, or foreign matter enters the tank

Use only clean fluid from an unopened container

Refer to the 'Hydraulic Fluids' section of the manual for fluid recommendations

Inspect blades for the following issues

Are there any dull or chipped blades?

Replace any dull or chipped blades

Ensure blade is not extended beyond the inner or outer circumference of the facer

Ensure the machine is turned off and cooled down

Gather necessary tools and materials

Place the drain tube into a container

Open the drain valve to drain the hydraulic fluid

Remove the old hydraulic filter
