Fusion Machine Cleaning
Clean Jaws and Inserts
Clean the jaws and inserts with a stiff-bristled brush to remove dirt or residual material.
Clean Thrust Bearings
Wash the clamp knob bearing assembly with a solvent.
Lubricate the thrust bearings with 30W or lighter oil.
Clean Eyebolt Threads
Brush clean the clamp knob eyebolt threads.
Clean the Clamping Chains
Clean the side fusion chains with a stiff-bristled brush.

Locate bleed plugs
Bleeding Air Procedure
Tilt machine so the fixed jaw end is higher than the opposite end
Adjust the pressure to approximately 50-100 psi
Shift the directional control and move the carriage to the fixed jaw end
Loosen the bleed plug on one cylinder next to the fixed jaw and hold pressure until no air is indicated
Quickly tighten the plug after bleeding air

Preparation

Ensure the engine is cool before starting the oil change
Draining the Old Oil
Locate the oil drain plug on the bottom of the oil pan
Remove the oil drain plug and allow the oil to completely drain out
Replacing the Oil Filter
Remove the old oil filter
