Is the fan in operation during lubrication?

Ensure the grease gun is ready and filled with NLGI #2 consistency grease.

Select the temperature range of the fan bearings.

Pump grease slowly until a slight bead forms around the bearing seals.

Is the bearing visible during lubrication?

If the bearing is not visible, enter the number of grease injections used (maximum 3).

Select compatible grease for lubrication

Bearing Removal and Preparation

Remove any burrs from the shaft by sanding

Slide new bearings onto the shaft to the desired location and loosely mount bearings onto the bearing support

Ensure bearing bolts and setscrews are loose enough to allow shaft positioning

Bearing Positioning and Securing

Correctly position the wheel and tighten the bearing bolts securely to the bearing support

Align setscrews bearing to bearing and secure tightly to the shaft
